With a new and stunning twist, Pantherella set the San Diego Wine Affair this year within a private jet hangar at Jet Source!! Pantherella’s passionate team creatively transformed the private airplane hangar into a gorgeous, bold, luxurious space with bright colors and stylish decor!
Guests walked the red-carpet into the stunning jet hanger for a bash planned not only with a display of swanky cars and private jets, with exclusive food and crafted pairings by San Diego’s finest chefs and mixologists but also the chance to contribute to an important cause and raise critical funds for Miracle Babies!! ~ A nonprofit organization who provides support and financial assistance to families with critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
With the gorgeous background set the exclusive evening was ready for take-off and launched amidst superb silent auction tables beautifully placed, featuring fabulous items donated from local businesses, artists and event sponsors! Lively sounds from first-class DJ entertainment added balance to the perfectly designed atmospheric conditions. Premier beverage sponsor, Henebery Whiskey, offered an open bar throughout the evening while guests enjoyed a relaxing time tasting, bidding and visiting with new and old friends.
The exclusive event hosted over 30 of the world’s finest wineries paired alongside delicious cuisine destine for just plain fun—and “plane” fun with a LIVE Auction that featured artwork from local contemporary artist, Erik Skolberg!! VIP guests were treated to a chic lounge with exclusive wine access and enjoyed blackened ahi poke, sobe noodle cake, miso honey slaw from FLORENT, asian fusion meatballs over sesame rice noodles from The Nutrition Chef and sweets by Amore Cheesecake. Other culinary treats included filet mignon, braised pork belly with caramelized onions and bruschetta from Davanti Enoteca Del Mar, gourmet cakes, cookies, tarts byBon Pastry and ceviche from Panca Peruvian.
